Working with May was such a wonderful experience. Her advice was kind and honest and has changed my whole attitude (for the better!) towards clothes. Post having children I wore athleisure on a daily basis, I was struggling to find clothes felt comfortable in that also looked good. I’ve gone from wearing clothes, to thinking about how I will style clothes, and enjoying shopping and finding pieces that go with the capsule wardrobe May set me up with. She's also taught me the importance of buying quality made clothes, and small styling tricks can completely change an outfit. I cannot recommend May highly enough.

The wardrobe audit and culling process was a cathartic experience. I loved the chance to refresh my wardrobe under May's expert guidance and style advice, and the opportunity to step outside of my comfort zone and try clothing that I wouldn't have selected on my own - but really suited my shape and size. I also feel I have developed a better understanding of the styles that suit me, which will be hugely helpful when I'm selecting clothes in future. May had spent the morning collecting options at various stores and we efficiently went from store to store trying on the collections. Removing the browsing component of shopping allowed me to efficiently try on more outfits and also stay focused on the event for which I was hoping to purchase an outfit. Having May present in the fitting room area ready to provide impartial feedback was great. She wasn't afraid to say when the outfit wasn't the right fit or style for my body shape. She also considered the whole look. I can't think of anything I would have liked more of in a first styling session. May offered a lovely calm, generous, and positive styling experience—I loved every minute of it!
